Syria: Moscow sent two aircraft to evacuate Russians Lebanon

The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations send two planes Tuesday in the Lebanese capital Beirut loaded evacuate Russian nationals wishing to leave Syria, announced Monday in Moscow Ministry spokesman Irina Rossious.

"The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations sent two aircraft Ilyushin Il-76-42 and Yakovlev Iak Beirut to allow the Russians being in Syria to return to their homeland," said Ms. Rossious.

Aircraft can carry a hundred people, she said.

The conflict between forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad to the armed opposition has more than 60,000 deaths since March 2011, according to the UN. Syrian authorities say they are fighting against well-
armed fighters receiving foreign assistance.
